Lovely day today, dry all day. Excellent breakfast at the Plockton Inn setting the day up well. Highly recommend the Hotel as the accommodation staff and food were excellent. Headed from Plocton to Eilan Donan as above and had a good walk around. Drove down the road and had a few stops at viewpoints where the parking was available, stopped off at the Commando Monument, and had a lovely chat with Colin and Justin. Headed into Fort William as could do with new walking shoes and was served by a nice young man, who happens to be the brother of a friend of Rhiannon's so a good chat was had. Then we headed south stopping at castle stalker and by this point, we were getting done so headed to the Hotel, shortage of parking but apart from that room is clean tidy and large with a lovely bathroom. Dinner was spectacular west coast chowder followed by langoustine, prawn, and crayfish linguine, mmmm lovely. went for a walk along the shore and headed back to the hotel, early start tomorrow, and good friends' 60th so no post tomorrow.
